About Hillcrest

OUR STORY

Hillcrest Racquet Club was founded and built in 1970 under the name Vantage Point during the rise in popularity of the sport of tennis. The name was later changed to Hillcrest Racquet Club under previous ownership. The current ownership began in 1994 with the purchase of the business by Neal Jacobs. Matt Jacobs, soon became the owner and manager of Hillcrest. The club was renovated and in 2000, Hillcrest added an airstructure to  cover the clay courts during the winter months. In 2012, a turf field was built under the air structure and new clay courts were built.

Currently, the business is a partnership between Matt and Marc Jacobs. The business was renamed Hillcrest Tennis and Field Sports in 2018 with the mission of providing the community the highest quality tennis playing surface, instruction, and club atmosphere for tennis, and the highest quality indoor turf field with professional level instruction in soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and football.
